The Festival of Women`s Art and “Creative Cookroom” Exhibition in “New Manezh”
February 27. Children`s day at the Festival in New Manezh. Lydia Martynova went with children on an excursion around the exhibition. Under the guidance of Marina Koleichuk the children constructed “A Town of Future” using colored paper as building material.
March 1. The preview for officials and distinguished guests. Among the speakers there were Valery Perfiliev , from Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation, Eleonora Luchnikova from Public relations committee of Moscow, Galina Fedoseeva from the Union of Russia`s Women, Olga Pobedova, Corresponding member of Russian Academy of Arts, Maria Esmont, President of IRIDA, Liudmila Bredikhina, art critic, curator of the Exhibition.
March 2. A Round Table Conference in the Union of Russia`s Women. The agenda of the conference included the following questions: Are the creative unions on the basis of gender really necessary? Twenty years of IRIDA – is it success or survival? The place of art and culture in contemporary life of Russia.
“ Adventures of Square” - a show performance by Anna Koleichuk’ was demonstrated
March 3-6. Master-classes by experienced artists were performed. Among them there were Natta Konysheva- painting “on line”, Elena Laricheva – portraiture , Nina Shcherbakova-Ionova
Water -coloring, Lydia Martynova – batik.
Bambu Hellstedt, a participant in Exhibition from Finland , speaking about her impressions particularly distinguished a high level of the Exhibition, the art-show by Anna Koleichuk, sightseeing in the center of Moscow (The Kremlin, the Red Square), the State Tretyakov-
skaya Gallery (especially Kandinsky and Filonov) and certainly Moscow Metro.
