The Forum of Women of Moscow
A new regional public organization under this name was established with the aim of promoting
women`s movement . A draft status has been approved.
A new union of women`s associations intends to start a serious public discussion on the problems existing in the state and to rise a role of women in solution of these problems. In the atmosphere of gender inequality in our country the Forum is ready to serve as a public social stabilizer working in accordance with the adopted political decisions concerning the modernization of the process of development of our society and further rise of quality of life.
L.I. Shvetsova was unanimously nominated for a post of President of the Forum.
