Scientists say that a human being is developing in the course of all his life both intellectually and emotionally. The history knows many cases when elderly people showed brilliant professional knowledge though their health was not excellent. It was their spirit and strive for creation made their life full of happiness and force.
We love our elder friends and we are proud of them. Ten artists of IRIDA are over 80 now. They are always with us. We see their works at shows and contests. They successfully compete with the young and receive well-earned awards because Art does not know the age. Having covered a long and hard route in their life and work our elder colleagues attained wisdom of understanding all values of human`s life.
All of them know the hardships of war, many of them lived through hunger and starvation, they lost their parents, brothers and sisters. Their biographies deserve admiration. We are surprised by their firmness in the struggle for the most dear thing in their life , for art.
